I have been following the construction of this new tower in Manhattan for the past few months. I love the height/width ratio, the classic styling, and the location. It will have unparalleled views of Central Park and the surrounding cityscape when completed, and will also be one of the tallest skyscrapers in the United States.

A beautiful shot of the world’s tallest tower.
These amazing photos are from the One World Trade Center tower at Ground Zero in New York that is nearing completion. These are from around the 90th floor and the crane operator’s vantage point.
I don’t have a source for these, but they were posted on SkyscraperCity.
I have been watching this skyscraper grow for quite some time, but only recently was I convinced of its beauty. This is one tower that looks much better in photographs than in artist’s renders.
When completed, this will not only be the tallest tower in the U.K., but also one of the tallest buildings in all of Europe.
